Who's the Real Criminal

We have truly entered a state of diminished responsibility.

It has come to such a mind bogglingly absurd state that now, it is not the man who beats his year old baby to deaths fault, but the over worked, underpaid social worker who was repeatedly lied to who is blamed with the child’s death.

Now I will admit, yes, they should of done more, should of followed up there every suspicion, but when they’re lied to on a repeated basis, and have no physical evidence of abuse, how are they to know? How the fuck could they do anymore to help? They’re not suddenly allowed to take the child, the process is a long and complicated one and even with solid proof it often results in no action beyond a warning being given.

And yes, this is a failing in the system in general, but for god sake people, why the hell do you let this unfortunate failing in the child protection system overshadow the fact, a sick, cold bastard and his wife, two bottom rung, down and out fuckers BEAT THIS CHILD TO DEATH.

Sure, point out the flaws in the system, and sure, use this horrible incident as a flag to wave in a call for reforms, but seriously, this has got to a point several people losing careers they’ve spent years to achieve, and in the long run will lose more then the two absolute cretins who’ll be cosied up in prison with a roof over their heads, food on their plates and with all the basic comforts these sacked people will potentially lose.

Am I the only one who sees that yet again, the papers have drawn the focus away from the actual problem, like they did in the storm of accusations against the McCanns last year?

So our school is now introducing yet more super healthy, tasteless, disgusting gunk that they consider to be the height of taste and value. With a slice (yes, just one fucking slice) already costing the extoritonate price of one pound (I could buy a whole pizza from aldi for that), it really seems that the fallout from the whole Jamie "I'm a pretentious Twat" Oliver is still continuing to ruin what I would of considered I actually a half decent meal service at our school. Even my favourite curry has now undone the sensible Curry/Rice ratio (two scoops of rice, one of curry).

See, it's not he, or the fucking government, or even the teachers at our school who have to eat this rubbish.

I'm now going to start going to subway every day instead, maybe make a nice little buisness buying shit for my mates in the lower years who can't go out of the school premises at lunch.

Now, I'm sure many of you have heard the phrase "respect must be earned", and usually, the person shoving it down your throat as if it was that wierd stuff they serve at schools which they try to pass off as "lunch". Of course, it makes sense, to have the respect of someone, you have to prove that you're not the scum of the earth type which of course would be rewarded with a shotgun blast to the face rather then respect and mutual friendship.

Of course, the phrase lies in the tidy little corner of phrases reserved to those that SOUND good, but in practice, is abused by those who have power (which for some reason means it demands your respect)


See what I'm saying.
While said person is being all "earn my respect bitch" of course, they're pretty much demanding yours. Hypocritical to the nth degree to be honest. And of course, when you voice this obvious contradiction they jump down your throat like you just dumped a flaming pile of plague infested vermin down their pants and then folowed it up with a rabid woverine.
